CCS Police Arrest Interstate Thief After Escape
A man named Telugu Nagireddy, who is known for stealing things, was caught by the police on November 11.
He was from a village in Andhra Pradesh.
The police took him to a place called Ananthapuram.
But on November 13, he escaped from the police.
The police had to suspend some officers because of this.
Later, the police from Medchal in Hyderabad caught him again on Tuesday night and took him back to the Kalwakurty Police Station for more investigation.
He is accused in many theft cases.
Telugu Nagireddy alias Mallepula Nagireddy, a notorious interstate thief, was arrested by CCS police.
He escaped from police custody on November 13 after being taken into custody on November 11.
Higher authorities issued a charge memo to Kalwakurty Sub-Inspector Madhava Reddy and suspended two constables.
CCS police from Medchal, Hyderabad, re-arrested Nagireddy on Tuesday night.
He was shifted to Kalwakurty Police Station for further investigation.
