A government leader named K. Haritha visited a small village called Jamul Dhara.

She is the District Collector, which means she helps take care of that area.

She told the women in Self-Help Groups to try fish farming.

Fish farming means raising fish in ponds to sell later.

She said this can help them earn extra money.

Fish were put into ponds and tanks that were built with help from a government water plan called PMKSY.

These ponds also save rainwater and help keep the groundwater full.

Another leader, Kova Lakshmi, said the government has many programmes to help women.

She encouraged the women to use these opportunities, and many other officials attended the event too.
