The government of Telangana wants to make the air cleaner in Hyderabad, a big city.

Many auto rickshaws, small three-wheeled taxis, run on petrol and diesel, which create smoke.

There are 18,766 such autos in Hyderabad.

The government decided to spend 200 crore rupees to help turn them into electric autos that use batteries instead of fuel.

Drivers can get up to 1.5 lakh rupees in help.

They can either install a new electric kit into their old auto or trade in the old auto and buy a new electric one.

The government also gave polluting factories more time, until October 31, to move outside the city.

It also approved a big water project to supply water for farming, drinking, and industry.

In December, the government plans to hold a big meeting, the Telangana Rising Global Summit, to invite businesses to invest in the state.
