Uttar Pradesh Scheme Pays ₹60.93 Crore To OBC Families
The Uttar Pradesh Government gives money to some OBC families to help pay for their daughters' weddings.
This support is provided through a program called the Shaadi Anudan Yojana.
In the 2026-27 financial year, 30,466 families have received money so far.

So far, ₹106.65 crore has been allocated and 96,956 applications have been received.
Of the applications received, 12,855 have been rejected, according to government data.
Eligible families with annual incomes up to ₹1 lakh receive ₹20,000 directly in their bank accounts.
