Ujjain Records 44mm Rain, Season Tally Reaches 23 Inches

Ujjain is a city in India where it rained a lot.

In one day, the city got 44 millimetres of rain, which is quite heavy.

That brought the total rain for the season to 23 inches, which is a lot of water.

The rain started late on Sunday night and kept falling until Monday evening.

It made some roads slippery and caused small floods in a few places.

Some roads are being made wider with construction, so people found it harder to move around.

Even though it rained, many people still waited in long lines to visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple to pray.

They did not mind getting wet in the rain.

The weather stayed cloudy and humid the whole time.

People are still hoping for even heavier showers to come.
