Madhya Pradesh Heavy Rain Alert Continues Till August 11
Big rainstorms are happening in a place called Madhya Pradesh in India.
One area called Dindori got about six inches of rain in one night, which is a lot of water.
The rain made roads flooded and hard to use, and some roads were closed.
A big river called the Narmada is filling up fast, so its water could be dangerous.
Seven families who live near the river were moved to a safe shelter.

Heavy rain cut road connectivity between Dindori district headquarters and Jabalpur and Mandla, with Kharmer River water flowing above the bridge on the Mandla-Dindori National Highway.
The Narmada River's water level is rising rapidly, and seven families from vulnerable low-lying areas have been evacuated to a night shelter.
The India Meteorological Department has warned of moderate to heavy rainfall in Datia, Rewa and Sidhi, with heavy rain alerts for 10 districts and widespread showers expected until August 11.
Madhya Pradesh has received 17.2 inches of rain so far this monsoon season, about 20% below the normal 21.5 inches for this period.
