In Pali, near Karad in Satara, many people came together to celebrate the wedding of Lord Khandoba and Goddess Mhalsa.

They threw turmeric and dry coconut, making the town look golden.

This event happens every year and is very important to people from Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the celebration was cancelled, and only a few people could attend last year.

Recently, in a different place called Jejuri, a fire happened during the victory celebrations of the NCP party after they won the local elections.

Sixteen people got hurt, including some newly elected leaders.
