India Deep Tech Alliance Members Invest ₹2,170 Crore in Startups
The India Deep Tech Alliance is a group that supports companies working on advanced technologies.
Its members invested about ₹2,170 crore in 56 startups during the group’s first year.
These startups work in areas such as artificial intelligence, space, robotics, energy and biotechnology.
The largest amounts went to energy-related companies, broader deep-tech companies and artificial intelligence.
The investments were made separately by the alliance’s members, using their own investment plans.
IDTA says the total shows that investors are becoming more confident in Indian deep-tech companies.
The group also plans to create a training platform called the India Semiconductor Academy.
The academy will work with companies and universities to help people learn semiconductor skills.
The broader goal is to help India build important technology companies and strengthen its startup ecosystem.

Energy security, transition and climate action attracted ₹655 crore across eight companies.
Biotech, biomanufacturing, synthetic biology and pharma received ₹189 crore, while the digital economy received ₹38 crore.
