Uttar Pradesh Extends NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Registration
Many students in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India want to become doctors and dentists.
To do that, they first take a big test called NEET UG.
After the test, there is a step called counselling where students register for medical and dental colleges.
The government office in charge, called DGME, has given students more time to complete the first round of registration.
Students can sign up starting August 13.
They must finish registering by 2 PM on August 14.
They can pay the registration fee and security money until 5 PM on that same day.
Everything is done online at two websites named upneet.gov.in and dgme.up.gov.in.
The extra time applies to government and private medical and dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
Seats are given based on how well students scored on NEET UG and after their documents are checked.

Seat allotment for MBBS and BDS state quota seats will be based on NEET UG 2026 scores, the merit list, and document verification.
