Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling Registration Extended Till August 15
Every year, students in India who want to become doctors or dentists take a big test called NEET.
After the test, they sign up to pick which medical college they want to join.
In Maharashtra, this signing-up process is called counselling.
The office that runs this process is called the CET Cell.
It handles admissions for MBBS and BDS courses for the 2026-27 academic year.
The office had said students must sign up by August 12.
Now it has given students more time to finish.
Students can sign up until August 15, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
They also need to pay a fee and upload their documents.
The first list of who got a seat will be shown on August 25, 2026.
The Maharashtra CET Cell extended NEET UG 2026 counselling registration to August 15, 2026, up to 8:00 PM.
The extension follows the Medical Counselling Committee's revised schedule for All India Quota seat admissions.
A total of 33,949 students have registered for Maharashtra's centralised admission process so far.
CAP Round 1 first seat allotment list will be published on August 25, 2026, with preference filling from August 22-24.
Seats remaining after the CAP process, including institutional quota seats, will now be filled online by the CET Cell.
