200-Kg Iron Beam Falls From 13th Floor; Contractor Booked
A very heavy iron beam fell from a tall building being constructed in Kanjurmarg.
It landed near a police office during the afternoon.
The beam hit a tree and the office’s tin roof.
Nobody was hurt.
Police said small stones, gravel and rods had fallen near the office before.
They also said the contractor had been warned.
A case was filed against four people connected with site safety.
Police are continuing to investigate.
