Kalahandi Approves Rs 4,318 Crore Annual Growth Plan
Kalahandi’s planning committee approved a large development plan worth Rs 4,318 crore.
The money is meant for the 2026–27 financial year.
It will support many areas, including housing, schools, healthcare and rural roads or facilities.
The district will also receive Rs 6.30 crore each year through the KBK Vikas Yojana.
The committee meeting was led by Dharamgarh MLA Sudhir Ranjan Pattajoshi.
Members also discussed traffic problems in Bhabanipatana.
They proposed building another bridge over Ghoraghat Nallah.
Two local people gave 10 decimals of land to help the municipality with the proposal.
