Parliamentary panel flags 1,596 NCERT vacancies, 44% CBSE posts unfilled

This story is about two important groups that help schools in India.

The first group, called NCERT, helps decide what students learn and helps create education rules for the country.

The second group, called CBSE, manages many schools and big exams for students.

Some people from India's parliament checked whether these groups had enough workers to do their jobs.

They found out that many jobs at NCERT were empty, so more than half of the jobs had nobody doing them.

They also found that nearly half of the jobs at CBSE were empty, too.

The parliament group wrote a report to tell everyone about these empty jobs.

It warned that using temporary workers for important exam work could cause problems for students.

The report asks leaders to hire more people quickly.

That way, the groups that run schools and exams can do their important work properly.
