Sant Kabir Nagar Man Helps Wife Marry Lover After Discord

Imagine being married to someone for a very long time, and then one of them falls in love with someone else.

That is what happened to a couple who live in a village in Sant Kabir Nagar, a district in Uttar Pradesh, a state in India.

Buddhiram and Phoolmati had been married for about 21 years and had five children together.

But a few months ago, Phoolmati fell in love with a younger man named Awadhesh.

This made life at home full of arguments and unhappiness, and Phoolmati even left home with Awadhesh for a while.

She came back after her family persuaded her, but the home stayed unhappy.

So Buddhiram made a surprising decision: he arranged for Phoolmati to marry Awadhesh in a wedding at a Shiva temple.

Buddhiram attended the ceremony and said he did not want to keep living with daily discord.

The wedding was attended by other villagers, and police said no complaint was filed.
