In September, it finished 14 infrastructure projects worth Rs 45.48 crore.

These included a cultural complex and school buildings in Meghalaya.

The Council also released Rs 42.63 crore for projects that are still being developed.

Some money went to the region’s eight states, and some went to regional institutions and agencies.

Nagaland received the biggest state allocation.

Projects supported schools, tourism, livelihoods, culture and technology.

The Council said these efforts are part of its continued focus on development across the Northeast.
