Kuppam Receives Major Push in Infrastructure and Development Projects

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu visited Kuppam on Monday.

He said the area was being developed as a model constituency.

New projects were announced for roads, public services, schools and agriculture.

A plant for managing solid waste was opened.

The government plans to change 36,459 farm electricity motors to solar-powered motors.

Work also began in 35 schools, although cost estimates differed between Rs 10 crore and about Rs 15 crore.

A degree college and a women’s hospital were opened.

A new farmers’ market and a junior college were also planned.

Two trains will now stop at Kuppam more often.
