Delhi High Court Orders Tents for Patients Outside Hospitals
In Delhi, many patients and their families have been sleeping outside hospitals because night shelters are full.
The Delhi High Court noticed this and ordered the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) to set up tents near major hospitals.
These tents are for people who come to the hospital for treatment and have nowhere else to stay.
The tents are set up near AIIMS, VMCC & Safdarjung Hospital, Lady Hardinge Hospital, and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital.
Some people, like Laliya Khan and her husband, who came from Uttar Pradesh, are very happy to have a warm place to sleep.
The tents can hold about 20-25 people each.
The court also told the hospitals to help set up these tents quickly.
Some tents are already ready, and more are being set up.

Patients and their families, such as Laliya Khan and her husband, who came from Uttar Pradesh, are relieved to have a warm place to sleep.
The Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) is responsible for setting up the tents, and more are expected to be erected soon.
