Mohan Yadav Orders Phase Three Expansion Of Ujjain IT Park
Madhya Pradesh is building an IT Park in Ujjain.
The park will provide places for technology companies, software work, BPO services and co-working.
Eleven companies have already asked for more space than the first phase can provide.
Because of this strong interest, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav ordered officials to plan a third phase.
The first phase is a large building with two basements, a ground floor and six upper floors.
A second building is also being built to provide more space.
Construction of the first phase is 65% complete and is planned to finish by December 2026.
Officials hope the park will create jobs so young people in the Malwa region can work closer to home.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav ordered officials to prepare a Phase-3 blueprint for Ujjain’s IT Park.
Eleven IT and technology companies requested 126,000 square feet, exceeding Phase-1 capacity by 3,101 square metres.
Phase-1 includes a B+G+6 building costing Rs 46 crore and has reached 65% physical and financial progress.
A second G+6 building is being constructed as Phase-2 at a cost of Rs 46 crore.
Construction of Phase-1 is scheduled for completion by December 2026, with the park expected to create local technical and service-sector jobs.
