Flood-Hit Bengal Gets Relief Measures and Ghatal Plan Funding

Chief minister Suvendu Adhikari flew over the flooded areas to inspect them.

He ordered officials to provide food, drinking water and rescue help.

Families with damaged homes will receive ₹30,000.

The government also approved money to buy land for a long-term plan to reduce flooding in Ghatal.
