'Har Ghar Tiranga' Programme Organised at RVR Institute in Vijayawada

The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' programme was organised at Dr RVR & NRI Institute of Technology at Pothavarappadu in Agiripalli mandal on Friday.
The event was held in association with the 10th Battalion NDRF at Kondapavuluru in Krishna district and the university's NSS cell as part of Independence Day celebrations.
Chancellor Dr R Venkata Rao said the programme was organised in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to promote patriotism and national unity.
Commandant VVN Prasanna Kumar and Deputy Commandant Dilbagh Singh of the 10th Battalion NDRF attended as chief guests and delivered motivational speeches on patriotism and national service.
Vice-Chancellor Dr KRS Sambasiva Rao said the national flag symbolised the country's honour and the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and urged students to contribute to national development.
