Telangana CM warns Congress of 21% vote loss in SIR

People in Telangana, a state in India, are allowed to vote using a big list called the electoral roll.

Right now, officials are doing a special check of that list, called the Special Intensive Revision.

The Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, is worried about this check.

He says the state might lose 21 out of every 100 voters from the list.

That could stop many people who are allowed to vote from voting in future elections.

He believes ministers and local party leaders did not do their jobs well enough to protect the list.

He asked them to hold review meetings and check every area over the next two days.

He also told Assembly constituency leaders to stay in their areas for four days and fix problems.

He said two other parties, the BJP and BRS, are secretly trying to remove voters from the list.

He wants his party members to tell the public about this so every genuine voter stays on the list.
