President Murmu to Present 2024 Adventure Awards Alongside Sports Honours
India has chosen four people for its 2024 national adventure awards.
Baljeet Kaur and Skalzang Rigzin were recognised for land-based adventure activities.
Rimo Saha was selected for water adventure.
Shiv Prasad Chamoli will receive an award for lifelong service to adventure activities.
The awards celebrate courage, endurance, teamwork and smart decisions in difficult places.
Each winner will receive a statuette, a certificate and Rs.
15 lakh.
President Droupadi Murmu will give them the awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The ceremony will happen alongside the National Sports Awards 2025, but its date has not been announced.
