SRM University-AP Honours Outstanding Educators on Teachers’ Day
SRM University-AP held a Teachers’ Day celebration.
The university thanked teachers for their work in research, teaching and building the institution.
Nine teachers received University Outstanding Faculty Awards 2026.
Dr V M Manikandan received one of these awards and another award from the Prof V S Rao Foundation.
Eighteen staff members received awards for completing five years of service.
A Popular Faculty Award was also presented.
Leaders spoke about how teachers can change students’ lives.
They also discussed how teamwork and new ideas can improve education.
SRM University-AP honoured nine faculty members for research, teaching and institutional contributions.
The ceremony featured Andhra University Vice Chancellor Prof G P Raja Sekhar and SRM University-AP Vice Chancellor Prof CH Satish Kumar.
Prof Satish Kumar highlighted Dr S Radhakrishnan’s influence and the role of teachers in shaping lives.
Prof Raja Sekhar connected Dr Radhakrishnan’s philosophy with the National Education Policy and National Credit Framework.
Dr V M Manikandan received a University Outstanding Faculty Award and the Prof V S Rao Foundation Best Faculty Award, while 18 staff received Five-Year Service Awards.
