SWU delegation urges TGSRTC chief to resolve employees' pending issues
A group of workers from a bus company union went to talk to the boss of the bus company.
The boss's name is Y. Nagi Reddy.
The workers wanted to talk about problems that have been going on for a long time.
Some workers are retired and are not getting the money they were promised.
About 17,000 retired workers are having trouble getting their retirement benefits.
The union also asked the company to give jobs to people who passed a recent exam.
It said these new workers would help make bus services better.
The boss said he would look into all the problems and try to fix them soon.
The workers were happy with his answer and hope he keeps his promise.

A delegation of the Staff and Workers Union (SWU), affiliated to INTUC, met TGSRTC vice chairman and managing director Y. Nagi Reddy in Hyderabad on Thursday.
The union raised merger-related issues, settlement of pending 2017 arrears, and grievances of nearly 17,000 retired employees over retirement benefits.
It urged the management to appoint all eligible junior assistants from the recent recruitment examination against available vacancies across depots.
Nagi Reddy assured the delegation that all issues would be examined sympathetically and addressed at the earliest.
The union welcomed the response and reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing employees' and retirees' legitimate demands through constructive engagement.
