Andhra Cabinet Clears Rs 22,178 Crore Investments, Infrastructure Measures

Goa Shipyard Limited received approval for an Rs 8,000-crore shipbuilding and repair facility at Machilipatnam Port.
The state approved procurement of 1,344 MW/10,752 MWh of pumped-storage power for 40 years and 500 MW for four years.
Four new police commissionerates will be established at Tirupati, Guntur, Kurnool and Rajamahendravaram.
The Cabinet increased Amaravati’s critical infrastructure allocation to Rs 1,548.98 crore and sanctioned Rs 661 crore for the Assembly building.
