Andhra Pradesh approved 28 new projects that could bring about Rs 22,178 crore in investment.

The projects may create nearly 20,000 jobs.

They cover industries such as energy, technology, food processing, manufacturing and tourism.

Ten technology projects are worth Rs 526.25 crore and could create 8,896 jobs.

Some projects will support artificial intelligence, quantum technology and biotechnology.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked officials to improve ports, roads, railways, air cargo and waterways.

He also wants the state to attract companies making chips, electronics, robots and solar panels.

Officials were told to connect research and training with new industries.

The state also reported progress toward its green-energy and electric-vehicle goals.
