24 Officers Graduate From Mhow Telecom Engineering College
Twenty-four Army officers finished a special technology course at a military college in Mhow.
Their graduation ceremony was held on September 2.
The officers received postgraduate diplomas in information and communication technology.
Lieutenant General Vivek Dogra led the ceremony.
He said communication technology is very important in modern warfare.
College Commandant Lieutenant General Praveen Bakshi asked the officers to use what they learned in Army operations.
Captain Neha Sharma performed best overall and received two awards.
The college also teaches subjects such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and electronic warfare.
The Military College of Telecommunication Engineering held the GEEO-59 convocation in Mhow on September 2.
Twenty-four officers received Post Graduate Diplomas in Information and Communication Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur.
Lieutenant General Vivek Dogra presided over the ceremony and highlighted communications’ role in network-centric warfare.
Captain Neha Sharma topped the Order of Merit and received the Commandant’s Trophy and SO-in-C Gold Medal.
The college trains officers in artificial intelligence, electromagnetic spectrum operations, cybersecurity and electronic warfare.
