Juniper Green Energy has agreed to sell renewable electricity to SJVN Ltd for 25 years.

The project will be able to provide 50 megawatts of firm and dispatchable renewable power.

This means the electricity should be available when it is needed, not only when the sun is shining.

The project will use solar panels and batteries.

It must supply power during four peak hours each day or period covered by the agreement.

It must also be available at least 90% of each month.

The agreed price is ₹4.25 for each unit of electricity.

The deal helps Juniper Green Energy expand its renewable energy business.
