Airtel Withdraws ₹299 Prepaid Plan After Year-Long Price Hike
A big phone company in India called Airtel has stopped selling one of its cheaper phone plans.
The plan cost ₹299 and gave people unlimited calls, internet data, and text messages for 28 days.
People could also get 1 GB of fast internet data every day.
A year ago, Airtel made this plan more expensive.
Now the company has removed it completely.
The new cheapest plan costs ₹349.
It gives unlimited calls, 2 GB of fast data every day, and 100 text messages.
It also includes a six-month free Apple Music subscription.
There is another plan for ₹399 that gives even more data and a JioHotstar subscription instead.
Some people say Airtel also removed two other plans, but others could still find them on the website.

The discontinued ₹299 plan offered unlimited calls, 1GB daily 4G/5G data, 100 daily SMS, and a Perplexity Pro AI subscription with 28-day validity.
The ₹349 plan provides unlimited local and STD calls, 2GB daily data, 100 daily SMS, a six-month Apple Music subscription, and 12 months of Adobe Express Premium.
Airtel had raised the price of its ₹249 recharge pack to ₹299 last August.
