Airtel removes five prepaid plans, adds Rs 349 replacement

A company in India called Airtel helps people use their mobile phones.

It sells recharge cards that give you data to use the internet.

Airtel decided to stop selling five of these recharge cards.

The old cards cost Rs 299, Rs 319, Rs 579, Rs 619, and Rs 649.

The Rs 299 card gave people 1.5GB of data every day for 28 days.

Airtel replaced it with a new Rs 349 card.

The new card gives 2GB of data every day, also for 28 days.

That is 500MB more data every day than before.

But people must now pay Rs 50 extra for it.

Airtel still keeps some cheaper cards too, like the Rs 199 one.
