The 8th Central Pay Commission is listening to government employees, unions and pensioners before making recommendations about pay and benefits.

It will meet stakeholders in Bengaluru on 7-8 October 2026.

Eligible groups must apply online by 18 September.

They must have already sent a memorandum and not yet met the commission.

The commission also plans meetings in Chennai, Puducherry and Chandigarh.

A visit to Mumbai is planned, but its date has not been announced.

The commission is studying salaries, allowances, promotions and other benefits.

Its final report is due by May 2027.
