Modi Expects Positive, Meaningful Talks at BRICS Summit

India is hosting an important meeting called the BRICS Summit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he expects the talks to be useful and positive.

Leaders from many countries will attend.

There are 11 member countries and 10 partner countries taking part.

Some international organisations will also be represented.

The meeting will take place from September 12 to 13.

Russia’s Vladimir Putin, China’s Xi Jinping and Iran’s Masoud Pezeshkian are among the leaders attending.

Modi said the participants share a wish to help the world.
