Agri-University Plants 400 Rare Saplings in Green Drive
A university in Hyderabad held a special tree-planting drive.
People planted 400 rare forest saplings at its agroforestry farm.

Four hundred rare forest saplings were planted at PJTSAU’s agroforestry farm in Rajendranagar on Wednesday.
The planting drive was conducted in collaboration with the voluntary organisation Nirman.
PJTSAU said 2,000 rare forest saplings have been planted with Nirman’s support over the past two years.
The university has established groves containing medicinal plants, fruit trees, natural dye-yielding plants, mixed forest species, mahogany and sandalwood.
PJTSAU is prioritising green-cover improvement in response to declining greenery, with support from HMDA, voluntary organisations and corporate companies.
