He warned that Earth could become like Mars if trees disappear.

Nagababu and MLA Prathipati Pulla Rao planted saplings with students.

The students were also given saplings to plant and care for.

They were asked to plant them at home or in another suitable open space.

Nagababu said Rs 3 crore would be estimated for increasing greenery in Chilakaluripet.

The programme was held on Wednesday and marked Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s birthday.
