Officials Urge Students to Plant Saplings and Protect Greenery
Officials held a tree-planting programme at a school in Chilakaluripet.
K Nagababu said trees are important for people who will live in the future.
He warned that Earth could become like Mars if trees disappear.
Nagababu and MLA Prathipati Pulla Rao planted saplings with students.
The students were also given saplings to plant and care for.
They were asked to plant them at home or in another suitable open space.
