The total number of students admitted was 1,81,927.

This was 15,181 more than in the previous academic year.

Students competed for seats in 387 colleges.

They could choose from 111 courses linked to 17 universities.

Most admissions happened through the Centralised Admission Process, or CAP.

The fourth CAP round had the highest number of admissions.

However, almost 29,000 seats were still empty after admissions ended.
