Maharashtra ITI Admissions Top 1.27 Lakh, Government Seats 93% Filled
Maharashtra held admissions for students who wanted to study at Industrial Training Institutes.
By September 8, more than 1.27 lakh students had received seats.
There were about 1.49 lakh seats available in total.
Government ITIs filled nearly 93% of their seats.
Private ITIs filled about 71% of their seats.
Many admissions happened during counselling after four main admission rounds.
Counselling added more than 57,000 admissions.
Last year, the overall admission rate was slightly higher at 86.78%.
This year also had slightly fewer total seats than last year.
Maharashtra recorded 1,27,361 ITI admissions against 1,49,543 available seats as of September 8.

Government ITIs filled 90,116 of 96,963 seats, reaching 92.95% occupancy.
Private ITIs recorded 37,175 admissions against 52,580 seats, or 70.70% occupancy.
The overall admission rate was about 1.6 percentage points below 2025, when it stood at 86.78%.
