Kerala Gives Additional Rs 2 Lakh to Wayanad Landslide Victims
Kerala is a state in India, and its leader, called the Chief Minister, made some big announcements.
Many people lost their homes in landslides in a place called Wayanad.
The government decided to give each family that will be moved to safer homes two lakh rupees more to help them.
This money will help them start over.
The Chief Minister also said that a big sea port in Vizhinjam will start working on August 18.
That means ships will be able to carry goods to and from other countries through it.
He also said that a new mining law from the central government is not fair to states.
Kerala will tell the central government that it disagrees with the law.
