Jagga Reddy accuses Harish Rao of 2017 PD Act conspiracy
A politician in India named T Jagga Reddy says another politician named T Harish Rao tried to send him to jail many years ago.
The trouble started in 2017, when Mr. Reddy helped organise a very big meeting for Rahul Gandhi, a famous leader of the Congress party.
About 300,000 people came to the meeting in a town called Sangareddy.
Mr. Reddy borrowed a lot of money, 6.5 crore rupees, to pay for the meeting.
He says the meeting's success made some powerful people angry.
He claims they planned to use a special law called the PD Act to keep him in jail.
He says the police checked his money and property but found nothing wrong.
He also says BRS leaders tried to get people who lent him money to complain about him, but they refused.
Later, he was arrested and sent to jail for a passport-related matter.
Mr. Reddy says he does not want revenge and is telling his story so people know the truth.

Reddy said he organised a Rahul Gandhi meeting in Sangareddy at the request of then PCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, attended by around 300,000 people, for which he borrowed Rs 6.5 crore.
He claimed political vendetta followed the meeting's success, including attempts to file 40 petitions against him and a meeting with then Home Minister Mahmood Ali to invoke the PD Act.
According to Reddy, attempts to get his lenders to file complaints against him failed, and inquiries by then City Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy found no illegal assets.
Reddy alleged Harish Rao shifted a medical college proposed for Sangareddy in 2013 to Siddipet, and said he was later jailed in a passport-related case.
