Jagan slams 'Red Book Raj', alleges vendetta politics in Andhra

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a leader in a big state in India called Andhra Pradesh, and he used to be the head of the state government.

He went to a small jail to meet a lawmaker from his own party named Virupakshi.

Jagan says the current government is being unfair to people who ask questions.

He said the police made three cases against Virupakshi in just a few hours.

He also said thirty-eight people were put in jail over the same matter.

Jagan told a story about a worker from another party tearing the clothes of Virupakshi's wife.

He said the blame was wrongly put on Virupakshi instead.

He promised that his party would always stand by Virupakshi and keep fighting for fairness.

A huge crowd of his supporters came to welcome him all along the road to the jail.

Jagan wants everyone to know he thinks the government is using police cases to scare its political opponents.
