Igatpuri Tunnel To Close For Fire Safety Drill August 27
Officials will conduct a practice drill to test fire safety systems in the Igatpuri Tunnel.
The drill is planned for Thursday, August 27.
It will happen between noon and 1 p.m.
The tunnel will be closed during that hour.
Some drivers heading toward Mumbai will need to use another road.
That road is the old Mumbai-Agra Highway through the ghat route.
Drivers going toward Nagpur can still use the tunnel.
The change is temporary and lasts for one hour.
A fire prevention and safety mock drill will take place at the Igatpuri Tunnel on August 27.
The tunnel will be closed from noon to 1 p.m. during the drill.
