Parliament Washout: Opposition vs Government Ego War Wastes ₹175 Crore

The Indian Parliament is a big meeting place where leaders make rules for the country.

Recently, two big groups of leaders called the Government and the Opposition did not get along.

They argued so much that the meeting did not work properly.

When leaders shout and block meetings, it is called a disruption.

Because of all the disruptions, Parliament lost 7,023 minutes of working time, which is a very long time.

The country also spent about ₹175 crore to run Parliament during this period.

Many people feel this time and money was wasted.

People are also worried that arguing has become more important than the real work of Parliament.

Both sides stayed locked in a standoff instead of doing their jobs.
