Reports differed on whether the test started on time or about 30 minutes late.

Many candidates left the centre and protested.

The same Jaipur centre had experienced problems during the NEET-PG exam the day before.

AIIMS cancelled the affected test and said candidates would take it again on September 7, 2026.

TCS iON was asked to explain what happened and preserve records such as system logs and CCTV footage.
