Ashwin hails Ireland's India series win as huge positive for cricket

Cricket is a game played with a bat and ball, and usually India is one of the best teams in the world.

A team called Ireland, which is not ranked as high, recently beat India in a series of short cricket games.

A famous Indian cricket player named Ravichandran Ashwin said he was very happy about this.

He thinks it is good for cricket when different countries can win, just like in the FIFA World Cup.

Cricket is going to be part of the Olympics soon, so more countries playing well is exciting.

Ashwin also liked the cricket pitches because they were fair to both batters and bowlers.
