Heavy rain fell in Chhatarpur district on September 4, 2026.

The rain broke a small bridge called a culvert near Gadharpura village.

Because of this damage, vehicles cannot use part of the Chandranagar-Badakheda road.

People living nearby are having trouble travelling.

Rainwater also collected inside Jatashankar Dham temple.

A stream of water came out of an opening called the Gomukh.

A video showed a priest walking through water up to his knees.

Water levels also rose in a nearby river and other waterways.
