Pregnant Woman Thrown Out Over ₹10 Lakh Dowry Demand
A woman named Tanu Sharma was eight months pregnant when she went to her husband’s family home in Gwalior.
Her husband and his parents asked her to bring ₹10 lakh and a motorcycle as dowry.
When she couldn’t give them, they beat her and threw her out.
Tanu filed a police complaint, and the police opened a case against the three men.
The case is now being investigated.

Her husband Krishna Sharma and his parents demanded ₹10 lakh cash and a Bullet motorcycle as dowry.
Police registered an FIR against Krishna Sharma, Asha Sharma, and Narendra Sharma for dowry harassment and assault.
The incident occurred on April 29, 2026, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
Tanu claimed she had previously married Krishna in Delhi and returned to her parents’ home in March 2026.
