147 NTR District Students Selected for NMMS Scholarships 2025
The government gives money to smart students to help them keep studying.
This money is called a scholarship, and it is like a prize for doing well in school.
This year, 147 students in NTR district won this prize.
Each student will get 12,000 rupees every year.
They will receive the money from 9th grade all the way to 12th grade.
That means they get the money for four years in total.
Altogether, each student will get 48,000 rupees.
The money goes straight into their own bank accounts.
Students in 8th grade are the ones who can take the exam for this scholarship.
A school in Vijayawada called AKTPM High School had the most winners, with 21 students.
147 students from NTR district have been selected for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS)-2025, as per results released by the school education department.
Each selected student is eligible for Rs 12,000 per year from Class IX to Class XII, totaling Rs 48,000 over four years.
Scholarship amounts will be directly credited to the bank accounts of eligible students every year.
AKTPM High School at Satyanarayanapuram in Vijayawada topped NTR district with 21 selections, followed by GDET (18) and BSRKMC School (14).
All three top positions in the district were secured by schools run by the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC).
