Police say a group was making illegal drugs at a chicken farm near the Maharashtra-Karnataka border.

The farm was near Hajagoli village in Kolhapur district, about 25 kilometers from Belagavi.

Officers found 208 grams of suspected drugs, along with chemicals and machines.

They said the seized items were worth about Rs 1.13 crore.

Seven people were arrested, including two from Belagavi.

Investigators believe the drugs may have been sent to Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa.

The case began after information from an earlier investigation in Mumbai.

Police are questioning the suspects and looking for other people who may have helped the operation.
