Karnataka High Court Rejects Darshan Thoogudeepa Plea Over Approver
A famous Kannada movie actor named Darshan Thoogudeepa is in trouble with the law.
He is accused in a murder case that happened in 2024.
The person who was killed is named Renukaswamy.
Another person accused in the same case, Pradosh Rao, wants to help the courts instead of being accused.
When an accused person agrees to help the prosecution, they are called an "approver."
Darshan asked the judge to let him speak before deciding about Pradosh's request.
A judge at the Karnataka High Court said no.
The judge said that if that were allowed, no co-accused would ever want to become an approver.
So Darshan's request was rejected.

In an 11-page petition, Pradosh allegedly provided a detailed account of how Renukaswamy was abducted, tortured, murdered, and his body disposed of.
