Haryana Government Transfers 29 IPS Officers and One HPS Officer
The Haryana government moved many senior police officers to new jobs.
In total, 29 IPS officers and one HPS officer were transferred.
The changes began immediately.
Amitabh Dhillon received a senior modernization and welfare role, along with two extra responsibilities.
Ashwin returned from working with the Central Bureau of Investigation and became the police chief for the Karnal Range.
Several officers were given extra duties in areas such as cybercrime, traffic and emergency response.
Police chiefs in districts including Karnal and Palwal also received new assignments.
The order did not give a reason for the transfers.
The Haryana government transferred 29 Indian Police Service officers and one Haryana Police Service officer with immediate effect.
Amitabh Dhillon was posted as Additional Director General of Police for Modernisation and Welfare, with two additional charges.
Ashwin became Inspector General of Police for Karnal Range after returning from a Central Bureau of Investigation deputation.
Vikas Arora received additional responsibility for Cyber, Telecom, Information Technology and the State Crime Records Bureau.
Police chiefs and senior officers were also reassigned in Karnal, Palwal, Gurugram, Sonipat and other postings.
