Punjab High Court Halts Pharmacy Exam Over Cheating Allegations
A big exam was held in Punjab to pick new pharmacy officers.
Some people say the exam was cheated on by a secret group that used hidden gadgets.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court said it will stop the exam until it can decide if cheating happened.
The court wants the government to wait before picking any officers.

Punjab and Haryana High Court issued a notice to Punjab government after a petition to cancel the pharmacy officer recruitment exam.
Petitioners allege the July 19, 2026 exam was compromised by an organized, hi‑tech inter‑state cheating network.
The written exam for 454 pharmacy officer posts was conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.
Punjab Police said they busted the cheating racket, arresting 7 conspirators and 28 candidates and recovered 27 wireless devices.
Court directed that further selection steps remain pending until the petition is decided; next hearing scheduled for August 10.
